The Sequential Image

This is a book that I have just developed for our sequential image module. It is called 'what to talk about' and is based on something I used to do when I was younger. I'm really happy with the final result and will post more pics when I collect my portfolio and my grade. I changed a few colours in photoshop but the majority of the drawing was done with coloured pencils.

Meet Garth and Bill.

I love these characters but I have no narrative for them at the moment. I need to get my thinking cap on and develop a narrative. Its not as weird as it looks.....

Why am I here?

Spring is just around the corner and I have decided to start a blog to note down my recent musings, inspiration and any new illustrations. I started on the MA Childrens Book Illustration course at Cambridge School of Art last September, so lots of new illustrations should be coming soon.
